Tools for Healthier Education Organizations

  • Equity Assessment Tool
This tool was created collaboratively by Oregon based Coalition of Communities of Color and All Hands Raised, two well respected organizations in our state. It is now a source recommended by several national organizations and serves as a good starting point for any organization interested in learning more about what they can do to ensure equity in their organization.

  • Blue Zones Project
Cambia Health Foundation has generously provided leadership funding to make these resources to all Oregon schools for three years. We like these tools in particular because they’ve shown measurable results in other communities and are part of a framework that has similar tools for other organizations throughout a community. This uniquely offers the ability to build a social movement.

  • Alliance for a Healthier Generation
We like this resource because it is comprehensive, well researched, and offers a framework for both students and staff. Schools can achieve several levels of recognition as they work to make it easier to be healthy in the school environment.

  • OEA Choice Trust
We like this resource because they have a strong network in Oregon and every partner we talk to raves about their level of expertise and support.

We are always looking for success stories to share with our partners to encourage them in this journey. We invite you to share your story of success. Please fill out our success story form for a chance to be featured in our communications.
